Love and Lust

Love and Lust
Love and Lust are two different things; while love involves trust, mutual appreciation, deep friendship and willingness to sacrifice, lust is nothing more than extreme sexual arousal. Look at the picture below. What do you see, lust or love? What differences can you see that stimulate these thoughts? Is it the deep passion, the look in the eyes of the participants, or the naturalness of the sensuality? There is more to this picture than lust. Clearly, there is a bond that goes much deeper than lust and that initial sexual arousal. There are shared experiences, commitment, belief and support for one another that take lust to another level, creating romance and sensuality rather than lustful thoughts and actions. Love involves all of these things and is developed through time and experiences that create a foundation of trust, belief and the powerful willingness to sacrifice anything for your partner. Love is the natural process to create a combined life with other person, the one that will share all experiences whether positive or negative. Lust is purely an attraction of sexual desire that has no emotional backing, no commitment, less consequence and responsibility. Lust is momentary, love is lasting.
